India's tennis star Sania Mirza lashed out at a troll, who questioned her nationality and wished her on Pakistan's Independence Day on Tuesday.
On the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day, a Twitter user wished Sania, who tied the knot with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010. "Happy Independence Day Sania Mirza. Aapka Independence Day aaj hai na? (It's your Independence Day today, right?),” the user said in a tweet, which he later deleted.
Instead of ignoring the troll, Sania decided to destroy him as he quoted his tweet, saying: "Jee nahi. Mera aur meri country ka Independence Day kal hai. Mere husband aur unnki country ka aaj. Hope your confusion is cleared. Wese aapka kab hai? You seem very confused. (No. Mine and my country's Independence Day tomorrow. My husband's and his country's Independence Day is today. But when is yours?”
Sania, a former world No. 1 tennis doubles player, has the fan following from both the country. She didn't shy to wish her fans from across the border on their independence day.
"Happy Independence Day to my Pakistani fans and friends !! best wishes and love from your Indian Bhabi," she said in another tweet.
