London: English Premier League side QPR Rangers have named caretaker boss Chris Ramsey as the club manager until the end of the season.
The 52-year-old Ramsey had been in temporary charge with director of football Les Ferdinand after Harry Redknapp resigned to have knee surgery, Xinhua quoted the BBC as saying.
The former England U20 manager joined Rangers' coaching staff last year after a decade as head of player development at Tottenham Hotspur's academy.
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes described Ramsey as his "dream manager".
Redknapp quit Feb 3, saying he needed "immediate surgery" on his knee and it would be "better for someone else to take over" because he could not give 100 percent to the job.
