Warsaw (Poland), June 3: Poland defeated Andorra 4-0 in Warsaw on Saturday in a football friendly that marked its final test on the pitch before it opens the European Championship on Friday against Greece.
Poland led 3-0 by halftime.
Ludovic Obraniak scored in the 13th minute, then striker Robert Lewandowski and midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski scored in a two-minute span just before halftime. Marcin Wasilewski made it 4-0 in the 77th.
Poland failed to reach the 2010 World Cup and the team was expected to struggle in Group A against Greece, the Czech Republic and Russia.
