Paris, Nov 23: Javier Pastore says David Beckham's experience would be a help to Paris Saint-Germain.
Beckham won the MLS Cup with the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday and his contract is coming to end. The former England captain has yet to decide whether he will return to play in Europe.
Pastore says Beckham's vast experience at the highest level would benefit PSG, which has wealthy Qatari backers and spent ¤82 million ($116 million) this season—including a French record ¤42 million ($60 million) on Pastore.
In an interview published Wednesday in sports daily L'Equipe, Pastore says “no one in our squad has a list of achievements and a background of his caliber.”
