Imphal, Jan 19: NEROCA of Sangakpham on Friday won the 56th edition of All India Sir Churachand Singh football tournament trophy defeating Assam Regiment Center, Shillong in a penalty shootout by three goals to one.
The winners received the goldplated shield and Rs one lakh while the runners up got a trophy and Rs 50,000 cash.
After a goalless draw at the final whistle, the result was decided by penalty kicks.
The final was held at Khuman Lampak main stadium in Imphal on Friday evening.
The tournament, popularly known as the CC meet, is organised by All Manipur Football Association.
