Abidjan, Ivory Coast: Defender Kolo Toure has been recalled for Ivory Coast's World Cup playoff against Senegal.
The Liverpool defender was picked in a squad of 24 by coach Sabri Lamouchi for the first leg against the Senegalese next weekend. The second leg is in November, with the aggregate winner claiming a place as one of Africa's five representatives at the World Cup in Brazil.
Kolo's brother Yaya, Didier Drogba, Gervinho and Dider Zokora also were called up by Lamouchi for next Sunday's home leg in Abidjan, while midfielder Max Gradel returned from injury to also make the squad.
Ivory Coast's away game next month is in neutral Morocco because of a riot at Senegal's Leopold Senghor Stadium where the teams met last year, leading to a ban on the venue
