Helsinki, Jul 20: HJK Helsinki's coach says his team was “bursting with joy” after handing routing Bangor City 10-0 in Champions League qualifying—the most lopsided win since the competition rebranded itself in 1992.

Coach Antti Murrinen says his squad showed the “right attitude,” never letting up the pressure on the Welsh team even as the goals piled up.

Bangor were down 3-0 from the first leg and conceded two first-half goals in the return leg Tuesday in Helsinki. But the Finns wanted more and scored eight goals after the break, including three within four minutes.

Seventeen-year-old Kastriot Kastrati, who was among three HJK players to score twice, said “it was quite an amazing game.” HJK will face Dinamo Zagreb in the next qualifying round. AP
