France and England 1-1 at halftime at Euro 2012

Ukraine, Jun 11: Samir Nasri scored from long range to put France level at 1-1 against England at halftime in Group D of the European Championship.



Joleon Lescott scored with a close-range header for England in the 30th minute. Captain Steven Gerrard curled in a free kick from the right after Patrice Evra had fouled James Milner, and Lescott nipped in to nod the ball past goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Nasri scored with a low shot into the bottom corner in the 39th.
