The demand for tickets has been highest among Brazilians, who have bought more than a million tickets for the June 12-July 13 tournament, reported Xinhua.
Next are the US fans with 154,000, followed by Australia (40,000), England (38,000) and Colombia (33,000), FIFA said Thursday.
The current sales period ends April 1. A final phase will begin April 15, offering tickets on a first-come first-served basis.
Officials said all tickets for any of the 13 matches in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo have been sold.
Other sold-out matches are Germany-Portugal (Salvador, June 16), Italy-Uruguay (Natal, June 24), England-Italy (Manaus, June 14).
