London, Jun 21: West Ham says goalkeeper Robert Green has rejected the offer of a new contract and will join Premier League rival Queens Park Rangers on a free transfer on July 1.
The club made the announcement on Thursday about Green, who is currently on duty with England at the European Championship as the second-choice goalkeeper behind Joe Hart.
QPR hasn't yet confirmed the signing of the 32-year-old Green, who has made 241 appearances in all competitions in six seasons at West Ham after joining from Norwich.
QPR has already signed Andrew Johnson from Fulham and Ryan Nelsen from Tottenham ahead of the new season, which starts Aug. 18.
