New Delhi: Their so far solid defence let in four goals in a rather disappointing performance against FC Goa today but the Delhi Dynamos are not pressing the panic button just yet with coach Mark Luijpers insisting that the team would bounce back strongly.

A listless Delhi were hammered 1-4 by Goa in front of home fans, leaving the team at the bottom of the points table with just seven points from eight matches --- only one of which has been a victory.

"It was a fairly disappointing evening for us. In the beginning, we tried to build pressure on them but then it became 1-0. We were hopeful of coming back but then the goals kept coming although we tried to be better in the second half. Once it was 4-0, the game was obviously gone," said Luijpers, who was standing in for a suspended.

"I think so far our defence had a great tournament but everyone makes mistakes. We didn't concede too many goal until today and one game is no reason to panic. So we are not panicking just yet," he told reporters after the loss.

"We have a lot of improvements to make. We are going to sit tomorrow and learn our lessons from this game. Sunday is a new game and we have to stand up," he added.

The coach said that the next match would be a fresh opportunity for his players to re-group and deliver.

"We didn't play as a team today. There are a lot of lessons to be learnt from today. But Sunday is a new match and we are going to be prepared for that," he said.
