Munich, Jul 5: Bayern Munich defender Dante is confident the Bavarian club will end a two-year title drought during the Brazilian's first season with the team.
The 28-year-old player moved to Bayern from Borussia Moenchengladbach for a reported a reported ¤4.7 million ($5.9 million). He says, “Two years without titles aren't nice (for Bayern), three are impossible.”
He is likely to make his Bundesliga debut at Greuther Fuerth during Bayern's first league game of the season Aug. 25.
Dante has not backed up his confidence with a pledge to shave off his distinctive black hair if Bayern wins a trophy, because he said he'd have to “let my head be shaved every year.”
Dante fulfilled a promise to shave his head after Moenchengladbach secured Bundesliga survival in 2011.
