Lisbon, Portugal , Jan 15: Portuguese league leader Benfica came from behind to rout Setubal 4-1 thanks to Oscar Cardozo's double on Saturday, while Porto kept pace through its win over Rio Ave.
Joao "Neca" Ferreira gave visiting Setubal a sixth-minute lead, but Manuel "Nolito" Agudo scored off pass from Axel Witsel to start the fightback in the 24th.
Cardozo put Benfica ahead in the 33rd when his shot took a deflection off a defender before landing in the net. The Paraguay forward added another in the 45th, and Nemanja Matic capped the victory in the 72nd.
Benfica remained two points ahead of Porto after the defending champions beat Rio Ave 2-0 on a brace by James Rodriguez. Also, Gil Vicente drew 0-0 at Feirense.
