New Delhi, Oct 16: Teen Indian shuttler PV Sindhu inched closer to her maiden Grand Prix title after she upset world number 11 and top seed Porntip Buranaprasertsuk of Thailand to enter the finals of Dutch Open in Almere city.

The 16-year-old Sindhu won 21-14, 15-21, 21-13 in a hard-fought match on Saturday night to reach the finals of a Grand Prix Open for the first time in her nascent career.

Sindhu had earlier defeated World No. 22 Juan Gu of Singapore in the first round. Sindhu now plays World No. 19 and second seed Jie Yao of Netherlands in the finals.
