Paris, Oct 27: India's Saina Nehwal moved into the final of the French Open badminton with an easy win over German Juliane Schenk in the semi-final here Saturday.

Top seeded Saina beat the fourth seed German 21-19, 21-8 in just 36 minutes at the Stade Pierre De Coubertin.

In Sunday's final, Saina will face Japanese Minatsu Mitani, who won 21-19, 21-18 against her compatriot Eriko Hirose.

Saina Nehwal  overcame stiff opposition in the first game from sixth-seeded Juliane Schenk  in the semifinal encounter that went on for 36 minutes.

This is the second straight defeat for Schenk against Saina after her loss in the Denmark Super Series final last week.
