Paris Olympics 2024 Day 10 Highlights: Avinash Sable qualifies for men's 3000m steeplechase final

Avinash has secured a place in the final after finishing fifth in Heat 2. He finished fifth with a time of 8:15:43 and will be in action in the final on August 7.

India's steeplechase athlete Avinash Sable will be in action next at 10:30 PM IST in Round 1 of the men's 3000m steeplechase. Sable's event is the only remaining one for the Indian contingent on Day 10 of the Paris Olympics.

Nisha put on a great show here. She was leading but a hand injury hit her and she was in tears due to it. But she kept on fighting. The Korean took the advantage of the injury and won this 10-8.

Nisha Dahiya is up against North Korea's Sol Gum Pak. She has an early 4-0 lead

The Indian skeet team has lost the bronze medal match by a very close margin of 44-43. Both the Indians hit a perfect four in both the previous two series but it was not enough.

India have qualified for the bronze medal playoff in the mixed skeet event. They will face China in the bronze medal match at 6:30 PM today

Manika wins the third game too. She won this match 3-0 and India have won this tie 3-2. They are into the quarterfinals

Manika has taken a 2-0 lead over Diaconu. Manika and India are now one game away from winning this match and tie

We are going into the decider. Bernadette Szocs has won this match and its 2-2 all. Now the deciding match. The winner progresses into the quarterfinals now

After two rounds, India's Maheshwari Singh and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka have managed a score of 97 out of 100 and are at 7th place.

It's 2-0 for India against Romania in the women's team event. Manika Batra won her singles clash comfortably.

A good start from India's Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka with a score of 49 out of 50 after round 1. Round 2 shots are in progress at the moment.

Indian women's team has won the first match against Romania and have taken a 1-0 lead.

India's Maheshwari Chauhan and Anant Jeet Singh Naruka will be in action from 12:30 PM IST in the Skeet Mixed Team Qualification round. A total of 15 teams will face-off and the top four teams, chronologically, will qualify for gold medal and bronze medal matches respectively.

3:25 PM: Athletics - Kiran Pahal in women's 400m heats.

3:45 PM: Sailing - Nethra Kumanan in women's dinghy races 9 and 10.

6 PM: Badminton - Lakshya Sen vs Lee Zii Jia of Malaysia in the men's singles bronze medal match.

6:10 PM: Sailing - Vishnu Saravanan in the men's dinghy races 9 and 10.

6:30 PM onwards: Wrestling - Nisha Dahiya in the women's 68kg freestyle pre-quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals and the semifinals are also scheduled on the same day.

10:31 PM: Athletics - Avinash Sable in men's 3000m steeplechase heats.
