Javelin Throw, Paris 2024 Highlights: Neeraj Chopra hits 89.34m to qualify, Arshad Nadeem also advances
Neeraj Chopra just needed one throw to make it to the men's javelin final and even top the first round as he hit the 89.34m mark. Grenada's Andersen Peters came close to hitting that mark but his nonchalant 88.63m throw was enough to seal his spot while the likes of Julian Weber, Jakub Vadlejch, Arshad Nadeem and Luiz Mauricio da Silva also made it through. Unfortunately for India, Kishore Kumar Jena with a 80.73m throw as his best in three attempts failed to make it to the next stage.
