New Delhi: Sanjeet clinched the gold medal while Kiran won a silver as Indian wrestlers continued to impress, winning four medals in total on the second day of the Asian Cadet Wrestling Championship here on Friday.
Besides the gold and silver, India won two bronze medals as well out of the eight categories.
In the final bout of 76 kg free style wrestling, Sanjeet defeated Irani grapplers Hamed Manafian Darband 10–4 to win the top prize.
In the women's 49 kg category, Kiran narrowly lost the final bout to Korea's O Kyong Ryong to finish with a silver medal.
The other two wrestlers -- Anju in women's 43 kg and Sachin Rathi in men's 69 kg free style -- won a bronze medal each to take India's total to four medals.
On the opening day of the championship on Thrusday, Arun Kumar and Pradeep won gold medals as the host put up an impressive show by grabbing five medals.
