4.35 PM: (Wrestling) Uguev technically stronger than Ravi Dahiya throughout the second half of the bout. Uguev takes the first point in second half due to Dahiya's non-engagement before dominating the Indian wrestler for the remainder of the bout. Dahiya tries to make the comeback but the ROC wrestler was simply too strong to be put down.

4.30 PM: (Wrestling) In the final minute, though, Ravi Dahiya takes the two pointer but Uguev makes a equally strong comeback straightaway to restate the lead. 4-2 after the first half.

4.28 PM: (Wrestling) A very tight contest at the start, with no wrestler giving easy opportunities for the take down. However, Uguev has been more dominant of the two, pushing Ravi out of the ring once and taking another point soon.

4:01 PM (Wrestling): Belarus's Venesa Kaladzinskaya has suffered a defeat in semis, ending Vinesh Phogat's hopes of winning a medal through repechage. All eyes on Ravi Dahiya and Deepak Punia to win their bouts. India can win three medals in one day if both wrestlers record victories in their respective matches.

01:40 PM (Athletics) With half of the race about to be done, Sandeep falls in the pack down to the fifth spot as he struggles to keep up with the pace of the race favourites.

01:37 PM (Athletics): Sandeep has now started to drop pace and now Wang has a 3 seconds gap over the Indian. The second pack behind Sandeep is fast catching up.

01:34 PM (Athletics): 8kms are gone, and Sandeep still holds the second spot and has been maintaining pace with leader Wang Kaihua. Rahul drops to 43rd and Irfan remains 47th.

12:59 (Golf): Weather can assist Aditi Ashok's chances of winning India's maiden medal at the Olympics as a tropical storm is predicted on Saturday. In its guidelines, local organisers have notified that they intend to play all the 72-holes (over four rounds) and a reserve day has also been kept on Sunday. However, with the storm being forecast through Sunday meant the official are keeping the option of playing a 54-hole tournament instead.
