Lucknow: Banga Beats icon player Parupalli Kashyap said here Monday that he is happy his team is in second place of the Indian Badminton League (IBL) standings.
The Beats defeated the Awadhe Warriors 4-1 and bagged five points for the win. They are placed second with seven points, a point behind table toppers Pune Pistons.
"I am thrilled to get the victory for my Banga teammates. This feeling is great as the affection and applause I get is phenomenal," said Kashyap.
"Close calls have gone against me but that is a part of the game. You win some, you lose some. I cannot complain. We are second and I am happy for it."
