London, May 9: British archer Alison Williamson will compete at the Olympics for a sixth time.

The 40-year-old Williamson was handed the final discretionary place on the squad for London after missing out on an automatic qualifying spot, making her only the third Briton after javelin thrower Tessa Sanderson and fencer Bill Hoskyns to win a place at six Olympics.

Williamson says "it just doesn't get any better."

Amy Oliver and Naomi Folkard round out the women's team, with Larry Godfrey and Simon Terry -- who already have five Olympics between them -- in the men's team. Alan Wills was given the men's discretionary place.

The archery competitions at Lord's cricket ground run from July 27-Aug. 3.
