New Delhi: Bangladesh Cricket Board on Wednesday announced the inclusion of the all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and bowler Rubel Hossain for the Asian Games 2014 cricket squad.

The 27 year old Shakib and the pacer Rubel Hossain replaced the spinner Sohag Gazi and Al-Amin Hossain as both were reported for suspect bowling action during their tour of the West Indies. They will have to undergo examination of their bowling actions according to ICC regulations.

Shakib was given a six-month suspension from all cricketing activities due to his misbehavior. Though his suspension period ended on September 15, but he was not given an NOC to play for the KKR in the ongoing Champions League Twenty20 in India.

Bangladesh will be led by veteran fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza in Incheon.

The Games to be held at Incheon, South Korea from September 19 to October 4 will see three Test nations - Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh - as part of the Twenty20 tournament, with India continuing to oppose its participation in multidisciplinary events.

The cricket schedule starts from September 20 to September 26 with the women's tournament taking first. The men will be in action on cricket field from September 27 to October 3. The participating countries are China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Thailand, Nepal, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Japan for women's tournament while the men's side will see participation from Malaysia, China, South Korea, Nepal, Kuwait, Maldives, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong.

Defending champions Bangladesh, who won gold in the men's event, have sent both their teams.
