The All India Roller Skating Championships 2019 is all set to be held from April 18 at the RSFI Greno Speed Skating Rink, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
The mega event, which is being organised by the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) along with the Uttar Pradesh Roller Skating Association, will continue for four days till April 21.
The event will start with a grand opening ceremony on April 18 in the presence of the former president of RSFI and other dignitaries.
Around 1100 skaters both in Inline and Quad skating from all over the country are scheduled to participate in the event. More than 120 schools across India have been invited to participate in the event.
There will be 7 different age groups for boys and girls, respectively in 5 different events.
The event will take place at Greno speed skating track - a newly made facility. It is the first of its kind in India and only banked track designed as per the latest international specifications.
It is a 200 metre long parabolic synthetic track and is 7 metre wide. It also has an elevation standard of 1 metre and 35 centimetre.
