Badminton Association of India (BAI) has decided to honour Lakshya Sen who bagged gold at the recently-concluded Asian Junior Championship.

"To honour this incredible talent and inspire many others like him to aspire for the stars, as President of @BAI_Media I am glad to have announced a cash prize of Rs.10 lakh to @lakshya_sen for winning Gold at Junior Asian #Badminton Championship in Jakarta. #SundayMotivation," Sarma tweeted.
The president had earlier congratulated the young shuttler for winning the gold medal and making India proud.
The 16-year-old sportsman created history by beating top-seed Kunlavut Vitidsaran of Indonesia 21-19, 21-18 to win gold for India at the mega-event after a gap of six years.
