New Delhi: Indian men's team has qualified for next year's Rabobank Hockey World cup to be held in The Hague, Netherlands.
A press release by International Hockey Federation (FIH) said, India's paricipation was sealed following completion of men's and women's Oceania Cup continental championship held in Stratford, New Zealand on Sunday.
India men's sixth place finish at the Rabobank Hockey World League semi final in Rotterdam proved to be enough for their participation
Hockey World Cup – Men's Qualifiers list: Netherlands (Hosts), Germany, Argentina, South Korea, Australia, England, Belgium, New Zealand, Spain, Malaysia, India.
The one remaining place at the Rabobank Hockey World Cup for men will be filled by the winner of the Africa Cup of Nations, which takes place from 18-24 November in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Rabobank World Cup Hockey will be played next year from May 31 to June 15 at the 15,000 capacity Kyocera Stadium in The Hague.
