Rare footage of Dhyan Chand's 1936 Berlin Olympics magic lying with Nazi film maker's family

New Delhi: The glimpses of the magic of hockey wizard Dhyan Chand at the 1936 Berlin Olympics hockey final may not be far away from the the eyes of hockey lovers if Dhyan Chand's family



Despite tracking down the film and getting in touch with concerned people, procuring this priceless film won't be easy as Rifenstahl's family members  have laid down stringent conditions.

A two-time hockey Olympian , Ashok Kumar's team won the  bronze in Munich Olympics 1972 and was a World Cup winner in 1975. He didn't possess any clips of that historic final match but only had photographs.

 



Rifenstahl  was commissioned by Hitler to make a film on the Berlin Olympics.
Dubey came to know about the existence of such a film only a few days ago.
