Khulna, Bangladesh: Hamilton Masakadza struck an unbeaten 52 as Zimbabwe reached 117-5 at tea on the fifth day of the second test against Bangladesh on Friday.
ZImbabwe still requires 197 runs in the last session to win the test and square the series, while Bangladesh needs five more wickets for another victory.
Masakadza's resistance was complimented by Regis Chakabva (27) Craig Ervine (21) as Bangladesh spinners posed a great deal of danger.
Ervine was dismissed in the last over before tea when he was stumped by Mushfiqur Rahim.
For Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan (2-24) and Jubair Hossain (2-29) claimed two wickets apiece, while Taijul Islam had figures of 1-43.
