Guwahati, Nov 29: Team India members Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Sreesanth today visited the famous Kamakhya temple atop the Neelachal hills and performed puja in traditional manner.
The players were welcomed by the priests inside the temple, the centre of Shakti cult, after which they performed puja.
Amid tight security, the trio went around the temple and spent nearly half-an-hour there.
Both India and New Zealand teams later left for Borjhar international airport.
The teams were here to play the first of the five One-day International matches.
The hosts won the tie here by 40 runs yesterday. PTI
