Sydney: Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat in the World Cup warmup match against Pakistan at the Blacktown Oval on Monday.
Pakistan, the 1992 champion, opens its World Cup campaign against arch-rival India at Adelaide on Sunday, while Bangladesh faces tournament newcomer Afghanistan in its first match on Feb. 18 at Canberra.
