Sachin Tendulkar also shares the record of the highest partnership for any wicket in an India-Pakistan clash with Navjot Singh Sidhu. The duo had put on 231 runs for the second wicket at Sharjah in 1996. The Little Master also jointly holds the record of most catches in a single innings alongwith Sunil Gavaskar, Mohammad Azharuddin and Younis Khan – 4 each.

 

8) India has won 28 out of 69 matches in neutral conditions against Pakistan. Two have ended in ‘No Result' with Pakistan registering 39 wins. However, India has lost just one out of six matches in Adelaide to an opposition other than Australia.

 

9) Saeed Anwar holds the record of most runs (194) in a single innings, by a Pakistani batsman against India. Virat kohli's 183-run knock at the Asia Cup 2012 is the best effort by an Indian batsman against the arch-rivals in ODIs.

 

10) India, last played an ODI against Pakistan at Mirpur in the Asia Cup 2014. They lost the match by one wicket. Mohammad Hafeez was declared the Man of the Match for his all-round effort of 70 runs and two wickets.
