Chittagong, Bangladesh: Kane Williamson's century was the highlight of the first day of the first Test against Bangladesh as New Zealand cruised to 280 for 5 at stumps today.
Williamson was trapped lbw by left arm spinner Shakib al Hasan after making 114 off 210 balls. He was out in the day's second last over.
When captain Brendon McCullum also fell lbw in the last over to left-armer Abdur Razzak, the umpires called it a day.
Bangladesh struggled but finished in style. They took three wickets for 36 runs to make a comeback in the game. Bangladesh were rewarded for tighter bowling in the last session.
