Why did MSD refuse to shake his legs on "Lungi Dance?"

New Delhi: The opening ceremony of the seventh edition of cash-rich Indian Premier League was missing its usual glitz, but it was decided to have a gala dinner with performances from Bollywood stars like Shahrukh Khan, Deepika and Madhuri Dixit. As SRK shared some light moments on the stage with Mahendra Singh Dhoni, it was a perfect opening for a blockbuster to follow. But when he asked Maahi to perform on Lungi Dance, he refused!Know why…When Maahi was invited on the stage by SRK, he made fun of his famous “Helicopter Shot”. Was that the reason Dhoni was not happy?SRK said that everybody used to talk about his helicopter shot in the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, but when Dhoni arrived in cricket, people remember only Dhoni's helicopter shot!Dhoni also shared some typical SRK dance moves with him.Dhoni was then asked to perform on Lungi Dance song by Deepika Padukone but he refused to do so by saying, “Main jaan de dunga lekin Lungi Dance nahi karunga.” (I will give up my life but will not do Lungi Dance). He was then tied on the chair after by SRK after refusing. Was he afraid of SRK on performing on his song?His wife Sakshi's expression was such that she wanted Dhoni to dance.Being the Chennai captain, he refused to do lungi dance and SRK jokingly said that he will not be able to play for CSK in the IPL till he dance.Shahrukh, Deepika and other players then performed on the song and asked Dhoni to learn.After they finished their dance, SRK thanked the crowd and the players for being supportive and organizing such a grand dinner party. Everybody left MSD on the stage alone on the chair, tied! He kept saying “Are mujhe khol to do.” (Please free me from this rope). But it was now Shahrukh's chance to refuse as he said that if Dhoni will perform then only he will free him.Atlast skipper lost, and promised SRK to perform on “Lungi Dance” but in the next year's IPL opening ceremony. He was free and sat next to his dear wife again!Well we all know it was all well scripted.
