New Delhi: Two of the greatest batsmen of modern times, Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara, took time off from cricket and caught up for a chat at the Ferozeshah Kotla here Wednesday, on the sidelines of the two Champions League Twenty20 matches.
Mumbai Indians' Tendulkar was seen talking with the West Indian great after his side qualified for the semifinals.
Lara is travelling with the Trinidad and Tobago team as its mentor.
Lara retired from all form of the game on 19 April 2007 whereas Sachin has retired from ODI but still playing test.
The news is doing the rounds that he might announce his retirement from International cricket after his 200th test to be played in November when West Indies visit India.
