When Dhoni, de Villiers rolled their arms

News Delhi: India-South Africa test at Johannesburg would be remembered for many innovative ideas to get on top of the opposition but will also be known as the only match in the history of cricket when wicket keepers of the both teams took off their pads and rolled their arms.On third day of the first test South Africa were without their one of the main bowlers Morne Morkel who sprained his ankle while fielding. In order to give rest to Steyn, Philander and Kallis and to do some thing out of the box to get a break through, captain Graeme Smith tossed the ball to AB de Villiers.While de Villiers rolled his arm, Hashim Amla kept wickets. The over cost the team 5 runs and the ODI captain who is an awesome batsman and fielder is a less than ordinary bowler.The hope of a breakthrough was unsuccessful for the hosts and on Day 4, Indian captain MS Dhoni decided to bowl as Virat Kohli kept wickets.Both wicket keepers bowling made it the first time in a Test ever that both team keepers bowled during the match which ensured the Johannesburg Test went into the record books for this feat.Dhoni is interestingly a keeper who has bowled the most times in Test having tossed the ball in 6 innings. Murali Vijay also bowled but the duo did not get wickets.Vijay gave away 3 runs in his one over while Dhoni gave 4 runs in two overs.
