Ben Stokes slammed five consecutive sixes and a boundary in an over for Durham in a first-class match vs Worcestershire's Josh Baker on his way to a breathtaking 161 off 126 deliveries.
Stokes eventually finished with 161 off 126 balls. The innings saw Stokes hammer a record 17 sixes. Stokes came to the crease during the 3rd over and went bonkers right from the start and reached to his 100 in 64 balls - fastest ever for Durham.
After the incredible innings, he now holds the record for the most number of sixes in an innings in County Cricket.
Earlier, Ben Stokes was appointed as captain of England's Test cricket team.The all-rounder replaced Joe Root. Stokes was out out of team due to mental-health reasons.
