Former Pakistan cricket captain Waqar Younis has admitted that he has been offered to become a full-time coach of the national team and he is ready to accept it.
Talking with Geo News from Australian city of Sydney, Waqar Younis said he had a detailed meeting with chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt in Dubai and he told him about his conditions. He hopes that the PCB would reach any conclusion in two days.
Waqar said that he agreed to become the coach for a long term andhe expects to be appointed for a period up to the World Cup.
Meanwhile, PCB chief operating officer Wasim Bari said that negotiations are going on with many coaches including Waqar Younis and it is difficult to say anything now. However, the appointment of the coach may be made in a week.
