Mumbai, July 1: Team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been ruled out of the ongoing tri-series in West Indies, due to a hamstring injury, the BCCI announced today.
Virat Kohli will lead India in the remainder of the tri-series.
The BCCI senior selection committee has picked Ambati Rayudu as doni's replacement in the squad. Rayudu will join the team at the earliest, Sanjay Patel, BCCI secretary said.
In Jamaica, Dhoni today underwent a MRI scan after he suffered hamstrung injury during play against West Indies on Sunday.
