New Delhi: India have lost nine out of eleven test matches when their batting order collapsed after being in a reasonably decent position in year 2014.The worst collapse was at Oval in the second inning

In the current tour of Australia, at Adelaide in the first test India were well placed at 367 for four but a sudden flood of wickets reduced them to 444 all out. Last six batsmen added just 77 runs. In the second inning too India lost 8 wickets for 73 runs. They were going steady at 242/2 to be bundled out for 315. India lost the test by 48 runs.

Brisbane test too saw India losing six wickets for just 87 runs. India lost this test too by 4 wickets and gone 0-2 down in the 4-test series.

And during on going third test at Melbourne India lost the initiative by losing 7 wickets for 56 runs. They were 409/3 at one stage and went down to 465 in first innings.
