The batting collapses that cost India matches

New Delhi: India have lost nine out of eleven test matches when their batting order collapsed after being in a reasonably decent position in year 2014.The worst collapse was at Oval in the second inning

At Notthingham in the second inning of the first test, India were 140 for one at one stage and looked like heading for a big score when it lost five wickets in quick succession to be in pathetic situation. From 140/1 India were 184 for six. However Stuart Binny and Bhuvneshwar Kumar steered India of trouble and helped it post 391. The match ended in a draw.

India not only made a  remarkable come back in the second test at Lord's  but also won a test at Lord's after a gap of 28 years. However India faced a batting collapse here as well when they lost five wickets for just 59 runs in the first innings.
