Kolkata, July 3: Team India pace bowler Ashok Dinda will tie the knot with longtime girlfriend Sreyasi Rudra in Chinsurah, near Kolkata on July 22.
The marriage reception will take place on July 24, according to a local newspaper.
Dinda said, he met Sreyasi at a friend's place nearly four years ago. "We met again after a few years at a party and I liked her. After our third meeting, I took her number for a friend and we kept in touch", said Dinda.
Dinda described Sreyasi as a "sober girl". "I made her meet my mom a year and a half ago. I kept pursuing her till she gave in."
A software techie Sreyasi and Dinda decided to marry afterIPL this year. The wedding date was fixed for July, as it was a lean season for cricket in India.
Says Sreyasi: "I had no option but to love cricket. Even my 86-year-old grandmother is mad about cricket."
