T20 World Cup: The Indian cricket team dealt with a major setback on Monday with the confirmation of Jasprit Bumrah getting ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 due to a back injury. BCCI released a statement and stated that the pacer won't be part of the marquee event, while his replacement will be announced soon. One day after the officially getting ruled out, the pacer has now reacted on social media.

The 28-year-old Indian pacer last played in two T20Is against Australia before missing the South African T20I series. Against the aussies, Bumrah picked one wicket in the second T20I and sent back captain Aaron Finch with his trademark yorker.

However, he was ruled out from the Proteas series due to a back injury. For the Proteas series, Bumrah was replaced by Mohammed Siraj in the team. The speedster was also not part of the Indian squad that played the Asia Cup 2022 in UAE in August, and September. With Bumrah out of the World Cup, the Indian team management and the selectors will have to do some brain work to boost their bowling line-up. The bowling is currently under the scanner as they have leaked runs in the death overs in the recent outings.

Some speculations are going on about who can probably be Bumrah's replacement. Mohammed Shami and Deepak Chahar are part of the reserve players and one of them can likely be promoted to the main squad. However, Mohammed Siraj is another name who can replace the pacer.
