Brisbane, Nov 26: England paceman Steven Finn says playing in his first Ashes test has been inspiring rather than intimidating.
Finn picked up two prize Australian scalps Friday on an impressive first day of Ashes bowling for the tall Middlesex bowler.
He took a fine return catch to dismiss Simon Katich, ended Michael Clarke's laborious innings and almost snared Mike Hussey first ball, finishing with figures of 2-61.
Playing in his ninth test, Finn felt the atmosphere of an Ashes test was something special, saying "to be able to play in front of 35,000 people today was exhilarating." AP
