New Delhi: If media reports are to be believed , the once most feared bowler in the game of cricket Shoaib Akhtar has finally decided to get settle down in personal life. But he denied all such reports and called them as rumors
He tweeted, "Wishes are always welcome BUT NOT for some crap rumour...My journalist friends,I expect sensible reporting and not rumour spreading.Thanks!"
He further said that he is not getting married to a 17 year old girl. He rubbishes all the reports and also asked to atleast respect that girl if one cannot respect him.
Media reports stated that the ‘Rawalpindi Express' as he is famously known has been derailed by 17 year old girl Rubab, who is daughter of a businessman and the wedding would take place in the second half of June.
Reports further stated that Akhtar is visiting his hometown Rawalpindi on June 12 to finalise details of his wedding with Rubab, who has three elder brothers and a younger sister. Rubab appeared in intermediate examination in Abbottabad only last month.
Akhtar has a cricketing career of more than 15 years in which he was known for both his on field and off field exploits . It has been reported that Akhtar will arrive at his home town in Rawalpindi on June 12 to finalise his wedding dates. Akhtar's family met Mushtaq Khan, a businessman from Haripur, while on Haj last year and discussions of a marriage started soon after.
Rubab has just appeared in intermediate examination in Abbottabad only last month. She has three elder brothers and a younger sister.
Akhtar was recently seen on TV as an expert during the Indian Premier League and as a judge in Indian TV talent hunt show.
