Lucknow announced Nicholas Pooran as their new vice-captain ahead of IPL 2024 and the team will rely heavily on his batting prowess throughout the season.

Rajasthan Royals have signed Tanush Kotian as Adam Zampa's replacement for the season after the leg-spinner made himself unavailable due to personal reasons. Tanush, 25, plays domestic cricket for Mumbai and was a part of Mumbai's 2024 Ranji Trophy-winning side.

Tanush is a bowling allrounder who bowls right-arm off-break. He has played 26 first-class, 19 List-A and 23 T20 fixtures thus far.

Yashasvi Jaiswal won the Emerging Player of the Season award of IPL 2023 after scoring 625 runs at a strike rate of 163.61 with the help of five fifties and one century. He is coming into this IPL season on the back of a wonderful series against England, hence, LSG need to be wary of the southpaw.
