Rishabh Pant Health Update | India's wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant on Friday morning met with an accident on his way to Roorkee from Delhi. Pant was shifted to Max Hospital in Delhi and underwent plastic surgery for his facial injuries.

Rishabh Pant Health | Delhi & District Cricket Association Director Shyam Sharma on Saturday went to meet Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant at the Max Hospital in Dehradun. The DDCA Director provided a big update on Rishabh Pant and said that the Indian cricketer will not be shifted to Delhi as of now. 

Rishabh Pant, who met with an accident on Friday morning is currently undergoing treatment at the Max Hospital, where Sharma went on Saturday. He said that he met Pant and had a chat with him for some time. "We are not shifting him right now to Delhi. As of now, he will be here only. I came to see him and talked with the doctor and Pant. I had a long chat with Pant. There is a pain but he is smiling, he is confident and talked nicely with me," Sharma said to the reporters after meeting Pant.

'BCCI will decide on ligament injury' - Sharma
The DDCA Director also stated that the BCCI will decide on Pant's ligament injury. On being asked whether the Indian Board will take Pant outside India for further treatment of the ligament injury, Sharma stated that BCCI will decide if Pant needs to be taken abroad. He also stated that other things are being considered and ligament injury is not being considered currently in the Max Hospital.

'Pant was trying to save car from Pothole'
On being asked how the accident happened, DDCA Director Sharma stated Pant told him that he was trying to save a pothole at the time of the accident. "It was night and he was trying to save his car from a pothole at the time of the accident. I talked with Pant's family members too. Met with his mother, and her only concern is that doctors should be nice. The treatment is going nice," Sharma stated.

The recent medical report of Pant states that he will be under observation for 48 hours and he is currently in ICU. He has sustained multiple injuries but is conscious and talking. The Indian batter also took MRI scans of the brain and spine, which have returned normal. Pant has also undergone plastic surgery to manage his facial injuries, abrasions and lacerated wounds that he suffered in a serious car accident near Roorkee.
