After drawing a blank to their win column in the first four matches, Smriti Mandhana's Bangalore face Meg Lanning's Delhi in the 11th match of the Women's Premier League 2023. Even though they look like a strong side, Bangalore have a problem many. Their batting has not been consistent while the bowling has been off-colour. Meanwhile, Delhi have 3 wins in 4 games and are a well-balanced side with their batting breathing fire and the bowlers complementing them well.

    Asha has got the big wicket of Rodrigues. The Indian was going well and was partnering with Kapp to take Delhi home. But she is caught behind by Richa as Delhi lose their 4th wicket.

    Body blow for DCW as Meg Lanning walks back. She played a false stroke to long off. She did not time it well and the fielder takes a sitter at the boundary. DCW 3 down for 70 in 8.4 overs.

    Preeti has taken the wicket of Alice Capsey, who was going big. That was well taken by Perry at the deep mid-wicket boundary. DCW lose 2nd and RCBW can sense something here.

    Schutt has produced a brilliant swinging ball here. This came into the batter a long way as it cleaned Shafali to give RCB a great start.

    Bangalore finish at 150

    Bangalore get something to bowl at. Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh provided a much-needed impetus to the struggling RCB batting to bring them here. They were reeling down at 50/2 after 10 overs and Perry was also finding it difficult to get going. But once she found Richa as her partner, the duo went blazing behind the RCBW bowlers. Richa got out in the 19th over which might have reduced a few runs. It would be interesting to see that will their bowlers do something here to provide them a first win.

    And Shikha Pandey has got the wicket of the RCB captain Mandhana. This was on a good length around legs as Mandhana wanted to clear the mid wicket. She cannot much much of power as Jemimah standing near deep mid-wicket holds on an easy one.
