Delhi win first match
And Delhi have won their first match of the tournament in style. This was a comprehensive 60-run win over Bangalore and they would be happy as most of the things went their way. The openers were on song, followed by the middle order and then the bowling. For RCB, the only time they looked in the chase was when Mandhana and Devine started taking the bowlers on. After the double strike from Alice Capsey, it became much more difficult for them. Tara Norris starred then as she took a fifer to send shockwaves in the RCB camp. A bit of fight from Knight and Megan Schutt but it was all too much as they finished at 163/8 after 20 overs. We now move on to the next match of the day- Gujarat vs UP. Aachal Maniyar will take you across that action.

1st time-out of second innings
It's a strategic time-out in the first innings. RCB are at 66/2 after 8 overs. They made a strong start but the dual loss of Devine and Mandhana has made things more difficult for them. They are going over 8 runs an over and need both- partnerships and a better run rate now. For DC, they just need to keep the pressure on.

DC finish at 223/2 after 20
So, now the highest score in the WPL belongs to DC. They have amassed a total of 223 runs in their 20 overs. What a brilliant effort from the openers and then by the No.3 and No.4 batters. Shafali and Lanning were unstoppable as they hit bowlers for fun. The first-wicket stand was of 162 and batters tore RCB bowlers apart. Heather Knight found some ray of hope when she dismissed both the openers short of their hundred but then Kapp and Rodrigues took the charge. They brought a stand of 60 to help DC go past 220. This looks like a good wicket but will be a daunting task for RCB now. Back with the chase.

Lanning after the toss
The pitch looks nice and even covering of grass. Not unhappy to bat first. We've three quicks and three spinners, so many all-rounders at the moment. We've trained well, everyone are in the same boat and we're looking forward to the game.

Mandhana on her decision
We will bowl first. It's a new wicket, bit of grass and we've some quality pacers. Four overseas players are Perry, Schutt, Sophie and Heather Knight. This is a great platform, we were waiting to get a chance to showcase our talent. This is big for women's cricket. We've had a quick turnaround, the team is looking in good position and the management has been amazing as well.
