New Delhi, March 26 : The Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh will be visiting Mohali to watch the World Cup Cricket semifinal match between India and Pakistan. He has invited Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and Mrs. Gilani of Pakistan to visit Mohali to join him and the millions of cricket fans of the subcontinent to watch the match.
The text of the letters to the Pakistan leaders are as follows:
Letter to President Zardari-“I propose to be at Mohali to watch the World Cup semi-final match between India and Pakistan to be held on 30th March. There is huge excitement over the match and we are all looking forward to a great game of cricket, that will be a victory for sport. It gives me great pleasure to invite you to visit Mohali and join me and the millions of fans from our two countries to watch the match.”
Letter to Prime Minister Gilani- “I propose to be at Mohali to watch the World Cup semi-final match between India and Pakistan to be held on 30th March. There is huge excitement over the match and we are all looking forward to a great game of cricket, that will be a victory for sport. It gives me great pleasure to invite you and your gracious wife to visit Mohali and join me, my wife and the millions of fans from our two countries to watch the match.”
