Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant made her entry in an auto, while Pakistani actress Veena Malik came in a palanquin to the accompaniment of music.
Other major participants included Yuvraj Singh's father Yograj Singh Bundhel, Radio Jockey Simran, Punjabi pop singer Ashok Masti, former Delhi University Students Union leader Amrita Dhawan, singer and guitarist Shanker Sawhney, Zoobi Doobi singer Zahid Nigam, Delhi BJP leader Vijay Jolly, Delhi Congress leader Mukesh Sharma, Haryana wrestler Sangram Singh, hair stylist Sylvie, MTV contestant Sakshi Bhayana and Shiva devotee Aravind Swamy.
Bigg Toss is India TV's unique concept, the first time ever on any Indian news channel covering cricket. It will be aired on India TV from February 17 till the end of World Cup tournament.
A number of contestants will live in an exclusive villa in Noida in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh and will be isolated from the rest of the world during the duration of World Cup.
The housemates, most of them strangers to each other, will spend their days locked in together under the supervision of CCTV cameras fitted around the house.
They will be given various “Bigg Toss Tasks” which one of the groups needs to win to get first chance for choosing the player.

Veena Malik: A Pakistani actress, model and comedienne. She has established herself as one of the leading women in the Pakistani television and film industry with her abilities to mimic others and improvise.
Rakhi Sawant: A dancer, Hindi film and television actress, model and television talk show host.
Yograjsingh Bhagsingh Bhundel: Popularly known as Yograj Singh or simply Yograj was an Indian cricketer who played one Test and six ODIs as a right-arm fast-medium bowler. After his career was ended by injury, he entered Punjabi film industry. His son Yuvraj has been a member of the Indian cricket team since 2000.
Simran: A Radio Jockey, her first stint was with All India Radio way back in 1995. In a span of ten years, Simran has carved out a niche for herself. Having worked with the stalwarts of the field, from Deepak Chibber of AIR to Mark Tully of BBC.
Ashok Masti: An eminent Punjabi pop singer who has put clinches with his name in the heart of Punjabi music lovers. He is creating saga in music from Giddarbaha to Great Britain.
Amrita Dhawan: Former Delhi University Students Union leader. She has now been made general secretary in the national executive committee of NSUI, the students' organisation of Congress.
Shankar Sahney: Singer and guitarist par excellence, known as one of the best Stage Performers, Shankar Sahney has promoted Indian folk music in different part of the word as well as in India and has shared the stage with VENGABOYS.
Zahid Nigam: Participated in the auditions of Indian Idol 5. He became famous for his unusual slang and way of singing song. He sang “Zoobo doobi” from the movie 3 Idiots.
Vijay Jolly: A prominent political figure of the state of Delhi belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is currently the Vice-President & Spokesman of Delhi BJP. He is also the joint convener of the foreign affairs cell for the BJP.
Mukesh Sharma: Congress candidate for Uttam Nagar Assembly Constituency (West Delhi District) 2008 Delhi Legislative Assembly Elections.
Sangram Singh: A wrestler, is a cop with the Delhi Police and comes from a Madina village in Rohtak district, Haryana .
Sylvie: Born of an Indo-Dutch parentage, Sylvie was a man in her past life, a trained surgeon, a husband, a father and a son. Charismatic, energetic and warm, Sylvie gives a new definition to the world of hair grooming and make-up.
Sakshi Bhayana: Was one of the contestants of the dating reality show MTV SplitsVilla 2 on MTV India channel. A Delhi University journalism student, became Mystique Miss NCR 2009.
Aravinda Swamy: An astrologer, proficient orator. He chants ‘Jai Bhole' after every sentence.
