Mirpur: A day ahead of the Asia Cup final between India and Bangladesh, a morphed picture of right-arm Bangladeshi spinner Taskin Ahmed carrying the severed head of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has gone viral on social media.
The controversial picture has created anger among Indian fans before the Asia Cup 2016 final between the two teams to be played tomorrow at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
The morphed picture seems to be the result of Bangladesh cricket fans going overboard after reaching the final of the Micromax Asia Cup 2016. The picture was reportedly posted by a Bangladesh fan after his team defeated Pakistan to reach in the Asia Cup final against Men in Blue.
A similar controversy had erupted during 2015 ODI series between India and Bangladesh when a Bangladeshi newspaper had published a picture of half-shaved heads of the Indian players, in order to show the after-effects of Mustafizur Rahman's infamous cutters.
